Reviews and user content policy

Reviews matter to us – including critical ones. This document explains how we collect, verify and publish reviews (information duty under § 4(1) of Slovak Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection) and which rules apply to content you add to Beautimess: reviews, questions and answers, photos and videos in the community (“content”).

1. Where reviews come from and how we verify them

1. A product review can be submitted only by a customer who actually bought the product from us. We send a review request by e-mail a few days after delivery; a review can also be added from the order details in the account. Every review is therefore linked to a specific order and labelled Verified purchase.
2. We don't buy reviews, don't write them ourselves and don't use reviews from other shops. Should we ever publish reviews from third-party services (e.g. Heureka – Verified by customers), they are clearly labelled with the source.
3. Club members receive a fixed number of Beauties for a submitted review regardless of the star rating – the reward doesn't depend on whether the review is positive.
4. We publish both positive and negative reviews. The average rating and star distribution are calculated from all published reviews of the product.

2. Moderation

1. Before publication every review is checked (automatically and by a person), usually within 3 working days. We check only compliance with these rules, not the tone of the review.
2. We don't publish content that: contains profanity, insults, hateful or discriminatory statements; personal data of third parties (names, phone, addresses); advertising, links to other shops or codes; is unrelated to the reviewed product (e.g. a complaint about the carrier – we handle that directly); is evidently false or written for a reward from a third party; infringes others' rights (copyright, trademarks); or contains health claims the product cannot have.
3. We don't delete a review describing a defect or problem – we publish it and contact you to resolve the issue (claim, replacement). We may publish our reply under the review.
4. If we don't publish a review, we inform you by e-mail with the reason; you can edit and resubmit it.

3. Questions and answers

Anyone can ask a question about a product. Answers come from our team (labelled Beautimess) or from other customers who bought the product (labelled Verified purchase). Customers' answers reflect their experience, not the seller's position. Questions about a specific order are forwarded to customer support and not published.

4. Photos and videos (community, #beautimess)

1. You can add your own photos or videos with products to the community, or allow us to use your Instagram post (by replying to our request or by tagging #beautimess and confirming in a message).
2. By adding content you confirm that you are its author (or have the author's consent) and that the people pictured agree to publication. Content featuring minors is published only with the consent of a legal guardian.
3. Content is moderated before publication under section 2. Unapproved content is deleted from the system within 30 days.

5. Licence to your content

By submitting content you grant VitaCore s.r.o. a free, non-exclusive, territorially unlimited licence to use it on the Beautimess websites, in e-mails, in advertising and on Beautimess social media, including format adjustments (cropping, resizing) and association with your first name or nickname, for 5 years. You may revoke the licence at any time by e-mail to info@beautimess.sk; we remove the content from the sites within 14 days (we cannot recall materials already printed or published). No remuneration is due for content apart from Beauties under the Club rules.

6. Personal data

With a review we publish the first name (or nickname) and, optionally, the town you enter; we don't publish e-mail or surname. Processing is based on legitimate interest (transparent reviews) and performance of the contract; details in the Privacy Policy. You can delete a published review in your account or ask for deletion by e-mail at any time.

7. Reporting content

If you believe published content violates these rules or your rights, write to info@beautimess.sk with a link to the content and the reason. We assess reports within 5 working days; manifestly illegal content is removed immediately (Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act).
