General competition rules

These rules apply to all competitions organised by VitaCore s.r.o. (“organiser”) on the Beautimess websites, in e-mail newsletters or on social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), unless specific rules are published for a particular competition. Specific rules take precedence to the extent they differ from these.

1. Who may take part

Any natural person with a delivery address in Slovakia or the Czech Republic who is 18 or over (or 16 with a legal guardian's consent, where the competition rules allow) and meets the conditions in the competition announcement (e.g. answering a question, commenting, following the profile, subscribing to the newsletter).
Employees and collaborators of the organiser and their close persons are excluded, as are participants who use fake or multiple accounts, automated tools or otherwise breach the rules or good morals.
Participation is not conditional on a purchase unless specific rules expressly describe a customer competition (e.g. “every order in the period … is entered in the draw”).

2. Procedure and winner selection

The announcement states: what to do, the duration, the prize(s), the number of winners and how they are chosen (draw or jury), and the announcement date.
In a draw the organiser selects winners at random in the presence of two people and keeps a record. In jury competitions (e.g. best photo) the organiser's jury decides according to the criteria in the announcement; there is no appeal against its decision.
Winners are announced within 5 working days of the competition ending, where it took place (post, story, e-mail), usually by first name and initial of surname or username. We also contact winners by private message or e-mail.
If a winner doesn't respond within 7 days of being contacted, doesn't provide delivery details or doesn't meet the conditions, the prize is forfeited and the organiser may draw a substitute.

3. Prizes and delivery

Prizes are usually Beautimess products, gift cards or Beauties. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods; the organiser may replace an unavailable prize with one of equal or higher value.
We deliver prizes to an address in Slovakia or the Czech Republic at the organiser's expense within 30 days of receiving the winner's details. For prizes over €350 the organiser arranges withholding tax under Slovak Act No. 595/2003 Coll. or informs the winner of the tax obligation; prizes up to €350 are tax-exempt.
There is no legal entitlement to a prize and it cannot be enforced in court (§ 845 of the Slovak Civil Code), except for the organiser's obligations under these rules.

4. Personal data

Participants' data (name, username, e-mail; for winners also address and phone) is processed by the organiser to run the competition, announce winners and deliver prizes, on the basis of performance of a contract (participation) and legitimate interest; winners' data is kept 10 years for tax purposes, other data is deleted within 90 days after the competition ends. By entering a social-media competition you allow the organiser to publish your username as a winner. Competition content (photos, texts) is used under the Reviews and user content policy. Data subject rights are described in the Privacy Policy.

Competitions on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. or TikTok Technology Ltd. Participants provide information to the organiser, not to the platform. The organiser is not liable for technical problems of the platform.

6. Final provisions

The organiser reserves the right to shorten, suspend or cancel a competition for serious reasons (technical failure, third-party interference, change of law) and to reasonably amend these rules; changes are announced in the same way the competition was announced.
