A personalised gift with a name: how to choose, what lasts and what to watch out for

A gift with a name has one unfair advantage: it can't be re-gifted. Since we started printing in-house in Pezinok, we can put text, a motif and a photo on selected products – and you see the preview before you pay. Here is everything to know before ordering.

How UV printing works

The ink is applied directly to the product's surface and instantly cured with UV light. The result is full-colour, resistant to water and everyday rubbing, and on dark surfaces it has a white underbase so the colours stay bright. It is not a sticker or an iron-on – the print is part of the surface.

What can be personalised

• Text: a name, nickname, date, short message – in four fonts and colours, with the symbols ♡ ★ ∞.
• Monogram: initials in capitals, a classic for bags and cases.
• Motif: illustrations from our library, on their own or above the text.
• Your own photo: upload it straight from your phone and crop it to the print shape; we send you a proof to approve before production.

Which surfaces last longest

Firm, smooth surfaces (faux-leather cosmetic bags, mirrors, glass, hard cases) hold the print practically forever. Textile goes through DTF film and a heat press – it survives dozens of washes at 30–40 °C inside out. Avoid the tumble dryer and ironing directly over the print.

How long it takes and what it costs

Production takes 4–10 working days depending on workload – you see the exact date on the product and in the basket, and the "order by 14:00" countdown doesn't apply to a personalised basket. The surcharge is shown on every product and is part of the item price; Club members earn Beauties on it and there is a separate mission for the first personalised gift.

What to watch out for

1. Typos: before adding to the basket you must confirm "I've checked the text" – we print exactly what you see in the preview.
2. Returns: by law, personalised goods can't be returned within the 14-day period (they are made to order). Print-quality claims of course still apply.
3. Photo rights: with your own photo you confirm you are allowed to use it.
